(IndiaTimes) Young fans of Lego and robotics in Pune, India can take part in a camp that combines both. Mechanical engineer-turned-entrepreneur Jitesh Dua was inspired to set up the camp in 2014 after watching his own children develop a fascination for robotics while living overseas. “It took off as an out-of-theordinary project in Pune three years ago and has now managed to reach out to many parents,” says Dua, “Through this five-day camp, we aim to give participants a glimpse of robotics.
The camp is open to children between the ages of five and 10 (junior) and 11 and 15 (senior). With the help of various tools and kits, for example SCRATCH, a programming language developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, the team at Lego Robotics coaches the participants to build machines and program it with visual commands.
