(VentureBeat) Nvidia has developed a method to train robots to carry out actions by first observing human activity. The system has a series of deep neural networks that perform perception, planning, and control, and these networks are trained entirely on synthetic data.
The Nvidia robotics research lab was first announced late last year; the lab now has six employees and is preparing to open up offices adjacent to the University of Washington in Seattle this summer.
