Vice President of Sales, Daifuku North America Bruce Buscher is the Vice President of Automatic Guided Vehicles/Carts at Daifuku North America Holding Company. Bruce has more than 25 years experience in the Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) and robotics industry. He has made hundreds of presentations to educate customers and the public about the benefits of self-guided vehicles. Daifuku North America is part of the largest material handling companies in the world and the leading provider of AGVs and AGCs in North America.

Hai Chang
Vice President of Asia and Strategic Programs, Adept Technology Hai Chang was appointed Vice President, Asia and Strategic Programs, in May 2013. He is an Adept veteran with a long history of accomplishments. In his prior roles he was Adept’s Director of Sales, Americas, since July 2012, and was Adept’s Managing Director of Asia Operations at Adept Technology since July 2007. He was also responsible for Adept’s business in the solar, packaging, and disk storage industries in Asia and also General Manager of Adept’s first subsidiary in China, located in Shanghai. He started his career at Adept as a Technical Support Specialist. Mr. Chang holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from University of California Berkeley and has completed his M.S. coursework in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on robotics and controls at University of California Los Angeles.

Practice Director, Robotics, ABI Research In his role at ABI Research Dan will focus on robotics innovation across various industries including consumer, construction, security, healthcare, agriculture and education.

Prior to joining ABI, Dan Kara was Chief Research Officer for Myria RAS, a research and advisory services firm focused on automation, robotics and intelligent systems trends, and publisher of the ARISPlex.com robotics portal. Dan was also President of Robotics Trends, an integrated media and research firm serving the personal, service and mobile robotics markets. He was also developer and chairman of the RoboBusiness Conference and Exposition series, the RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition series, the RoboNexus Conference and Exposition series, and the CES Robotics TechZone. In addition, Dan was the publisher of RoboticsTrends.com, an online portal covering the intelligent, mobile robotics market, and launched Robotics Business Review. Dan has also worked as Executive Vice President of Intermedia Group, Director of Research at Ullo International, and Chief Technical Officer of Software Productivity Group.

He holds a MS in Computer Science from Boston University.

Professor, KAIST He complete B.S & M.S in Mechanical Engineering at Yonsei Unive, Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering at University of Calif. Berkeley. Joined Korea Atomicc Energy Research In stitute as a Researcher. Postadoctoral Researcher at U. of Calif. Berkeley. He was a Professor U. of Texa, Austin from 1996-1997. After joining in KAIST(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), He served as Vice President of KAIST from 2013 to 2014. Currently, He is Professor of Mechanical Eng at KAIST, Robots policy consultant for Ministry of Commerce Industry and Energy, Member of The National Academy of Engineering of Korea, Distinguish Professor of KAIST. And Chief Director of HUBO Lab(Humanoid Robot Research Center). He’ll participate in DARPA 2015 with his Robot which name is ‘HUBO’. He leads the TEAM KAIST and win the DARPA Challange 2015 with ‘HUBO’

Dr. Zhao Weihua
CTO, Maxaero Dr. Zhao is the CTO of Maxaero, a division of Autel Corporation headquartered in Shenzhen, China. The company is dedicated to R&D and the manufacturing of quality-assured and innovative aerial products, such as imagery, stabilization and unmanned flying systems, to consumers worldwide. Dr. Zhao is an expert in UAV formation flight control, UAV control & guidance and data fusion. Before joining Maxaero, he was an UAV research scientist in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He founded Infinium Robotics in 2013.
